The I Love Lucy Show and Desi Arnaz Orchestra
Tony Terran met Desi Arnaz in 1946 when Desi was the Musical Director of the Bob Hope Show Orchestra and Tony was a member of the orchestra. Tony subsequently toured in Desi’s band, and then Tony became the Lead Trumpet Player for the Desi Arnaz Orchestra in the I Love Lucy Show starting in 1951.
Tony Terran featured in the ‘I Love Lucy’ episode ‘Lucy is Enceinte’. He is seen playing the intro to ‘Granada’.
